UAT and our employees are ready to help. The founding of the UAT Caring Fund forms an important history of UAT's societal development. From the early days of simple donations during flag selling days until today UAT has provided more resources to a structured UAT Caring Fund, UAT has been providing welfare services for the community. The Fund and the accumulated amount of such is still at its start-up stage. The significance of our UAT Caring Fund is great. The Fund characterizes that great companies, not just big companies, have become aware of being a responsible corporate by providing support for people in times of need.

In many cases, donations are made to charitable organizations. However, the decision leading to donations must be transparent, letting the whole company know the event, and rational where objectives of the supported organizations are in line with the UAT Spirit and the activities are well respected in the community. Since the UAT Caring Fund is founded, the fund has supported Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Obris International, Yan Chai Hospital and Red Blood.

July 2007 is the 10th anniversary of UAT. To be thankful for all the continuous support from the valued customers, trade partners and friends, UAT holds the 10th Anniversary Celebration Cocktail at the landmark hotel situated in International Finance Centre (IFC) in Central, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, on the 26th July for joint celebration. During the celebration ceremony, UAT inserted a UAT Caring Fund raising program and all money collected during this event is donated to the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. We have successfully raised HK$10,000 during the ceremony for Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.
