UAT supports Hong Kong China Korfball Association (HKCKA), the Hong Kong korfball representing team, participated in the Third Asian Oceanian Youth Korfball Championships 2007, which were held on 3rd – 8th July in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The General Manager, Mr Tony Cheung, said: "We are delighted to be able to contribute to the development of this Championship which is a qualification event for the World Youth Championship in 2008, and we hope that this event will attract many new participants to this sport."
The Hong Kong Korfball representing team won the Bronze Medal championship while Chinese Taipei takes Gold Medal and Australia takes the Silver Medal.
"As a good corporate citizen, UAT has long been a keen supporter of sports in Hong Kong. Through its involvement in various sports activities and sports sponsorship, we wish to encourage healthy lifestyles, physical fitness and the pursuit of excellence among athletes."
