Ms. Mei Ng, the Programming Manager of UAT has revealed the launched of UAT AdBoom Digital Signage to Linuxpilot’s readers. Recently, UAT has received a lot of customer inquiries on digital signage, so to satisfy the demand; UAT has developed its own high definition digital signage – AdBoom.

UAT AdBoom Digital Signage is a multimedia platform which distributes information in formats such as HTML, Flash, videos, texts and pictures over IP network to digital displays or projectors. It provides a flexible and an interactive communication platform to promote, inform, educate and entertain specific audiences at specific time. AdBoom is different from the traditional static billboard, ‘AdBoom is the first in the market to incorporate texts, high definition visuals, animations, live streaming, multimedia, website and RSS Live feed contents at the same time. So, contents can be replaced effortlessly and easily by administrators or even secretaries’, said Mei. Because of the broad applications, AdBoom can therefore be used in different industries such as corporate, government, hotels, supermarkets, shopping malls, cinemas, banks, retails, schools, hospitals, etc.

Mei also emphasizes the uniqueness of AdBoom - Customization. ‘AdBoom can tailor-made based on customers’ request and divide the screen into multi-pictures. We have developed more than 10 templates for customers to choose from.’ Moreover, the control of AdBoom is centralized and helps to design, schedule and manage contents from single display to multiple displays via network. So AdBoom actually increases the effectiveness and reduces the management costs at the same time.
